This Is Reality

This is a very nice song about life; very touching and I can relate.

BALAY

Da nanang ken tatang ko
immay da ditoy Baguio
ta awan ti panggedan
ti ili a nag gapuwan

Ti balay ti dadakel ko
maymaysa laeng a kuwarto
isu ti pagturugan, panganan ken pag-ugasan

Masapa nga mariing
agrubuat kami amin
mainayun ni ading
aglako ti silupin

Ni nanang nagbutilya
ni tatang naki purdiya
tapnu ada panggatang
ti inaldaw a makan

Balay da nanang ken tatang
kanayun ah mawarningan
panunut madanagan
demolisyon karanggasan

Panunut maguluan
awan husto nga pagyanan
uray pay ti panggedan
anya ngatan masakbayan

Maidadanes ah kakabsat
panagkaykaysa ti sungbat
masapul ah mapugsat
ti ramut ti panag rigat

Dongdong-ay si dong-ilay
insina li dumma-ay
dungdungay si dong-ilay
insina li dumma-ay

Whisper to the Wind

When I'm alone
And I can't speak
I can't see
I can't move
Lifeless

Just whisper to me
For your words alone
Bring life
To this dark world.

When you're alone
And I'm not there
You can't see me
Can't hold me

Just whisper to the wind
For your words alone
Will be my guide
To find you, my life.

Countdown

On the 21st.

Yap, on the 21st of this month the account I'm currently positioned with here in Sitel (Philippines) will be totally pulled out. DELL-XPS will again be just a part of my resume 8 days from now; it will be listed along with my previous campaigns Bellsouth and Sony. What's going to be next?

Another account?

Another company?

Nope. School is going to be next. College to be specific.

Well, I can say that college would be another campaign for me though. Good luck.

A matter of choice...

I am going to begin the countdown of days for my stay here in the company I work with. I will be going home to continue the education I left last 2005. This is a matter of choice, a rather one-sided decision of mine. A choice between staying here in Manila to serve Sitel or to go back to Kalinga and finish college. Deym, I should have graduated a long time ago.

This is something that I've been planning a long time ago, and could have done a long time ago; but there have been a lot of factors that crossed my path that had me kept my job instead. Friends, money, and being independent are just some of them. But this time they will be treasured and never be forgotten.

I know I will be going back to my hometown; but it's not same place that I've left before... well it's not really 'left' as in I've never returned, I always had some vacation though. Tabuk is a city now. There were lots of changes especially about infrastructures. Kalinga province is fast-progressing now, I think the public servants are better these days... hopefully.

So, this would be the beginning of the countdown.

Along came the spider, there goes the spider.

Let the games begin!

Come and play with me. :)

After a long time that I've been trying to get hold of my own game console, since I've sold my PlayStation 2, now I have my hands on a new PlayStation 3! Amazing!

I've acquired this PS3 from my good boss, Bep, thru a deal that went just fine. She won the console from a raffle that was held in our office and since they have their own PS3 already she'd decided to let go of it; well of course, besides from me there are others interested in buying the game console from her. So after talks and negotiations I won the bid, my strategy of paying it on same day worked out fine. With the amount (undisclosed, hehehe) w/c is considered way cheaper than the market price of the system I could say that it was a very very good deal indeed.

For the past few days I've been using it to watch DVD movies and it was awesome; the video is so clear and the sound is high def. I still don't have games to play with though; but I'm planning to have it modified, jailbreak!

As of the moment I am looking for a reliable person or store to do the jailbreak for my PS3 and after that everything is predictable. Games, games, games!

So let the games begin!

BIHAG

I would just like to re-post this poem...

BIHAG

Hindi pa rin nakikita
ang sinag ng lubos
na kapayapaan
sa bayang kinalakhan.

Ang pag-iral natin
ay nananatili pa ring
bilanggo sa puwersa
ng kadiliman.

Ang pag-iisip ay patuloy
ang pagdaloy sa
nalasong batis
ng patayan.

Patayan na sa ating
paniniwala ay nakapagbibigay
sa atin ng galak
sa ngalan ng karangalan.

Hindi pa rin tayo
nasisilaw sa tilamsik
ng dugo at patak ng luha
sa sarili nating lupa.

Hanggang kailan ito?
Kailan ihihinto?
Bihag pa rin tayo ng
ating mga maling paniniwala.

iK: Sari-sari Shop

Visit our store iK: Sari-sari Shop which is located at Bulanao, Tabuk City. Infront of St. Toni's, across the highway. It's beside a computer shop. We've got a lot of merchandise. Thanks.

Here comes the 'ber'...

It's the last quarter of the month.

So here comes the 'ber' months again; it's like a lot of people have been waiting for this to come. It's like an event in the long run; 4 months baby. Would it be four months of cold nights and rainy days? Hope not. However, we all know that this 'ber' months would all end up with a new year. Yeah!

Definitely there will be a lot of events around; here, there and everywhere. But what most people had been waiting for is the Christmas Season; some also are wishing for it to come soon enough.

Is it too early for us to celebrate Christmas? Well, that depends. If you've got them money, you gotta' be happy!

Well for me, though money matters this 'ber' season, what would be important is to be with your love ones. Love ones ey..., they may be alive or up there as long as there is love shared everything will be alright.

When it rains.... then it rains!

It's been raining for days now; can hardly go out and enjoy the holidays. For the past few days I've spent most of the time in this four-by-four crib; hitting the bed, watching movies I've bought, munching chips, surfing them social networking sites, playing old-school PC games like NBA Live 2006 and Counter-Strike 1.6... oh yeah!

It's getting boring in here and so I've contacted my buddies to have drinking sessions but all of them declined because of this weekend-holiday rains. Deym, I wanna take my clothes off and go dance with the rain. But my name is not Rain.

When it rains it pours. So is somebody out there up for a walk under the rain?

Here are some random fun things that hit my mind, things to do when it rains:

-Go out and walk under the rain and try to talk to anyone who is using an umbrella if you can share with him or her. (Well this could be a way for you to meet the person for your life.)

-Make money! Join those kids wiping car windows on the streets especially where traffic is heavy.

-Hit an open basketball court and play ball; this could be a good practice.

-Just run! Brace yourself for a 1K-2K run or jog. It would be better if you do this at a mountain trail. Get muddy and dirty!

-Or just stand under the rain with arms wide open looking up feeling the raindrops on your face.

Well then it's really up to you on what ya' gonna do. If you're just gonna sit there playing around your facebook then so be it. Just be careful in any way. For me it would be a rainy-day shopping.

Allergy Attack Prevented

And so I visited the doctor yesterday just after my work to get an opinion regarding the sudden attack of allergy on me. Consulted a professional at St. Luke's Medical Center and was informed about the possible causes of the allergy. The doctor claimed that she cannot determine what might have caused the allergy since the rashes on my body are gone; thanks to the anti-histamine. So the doctor is somewhat asking for an evidence ey; hmmmm. Anyways, I respect what the doctor said; I'll just be more careful and observant next time. It could have been the food that I've eaten (or it could be an ingredient of that food).

Here's a little research I've done regarding skin allergy (copy & paste):

What is a skin allergy? A skin allergy is a reaction caused by a substance that comes in contact with the skin, thus a skin allergy. Some types of contact skin allergies are dermatitis, eczema and hives. Contact dermatitis develops when the skin comes in contact with something that a person is allergic to. A reaction to skin allergies may cause a redness or even swelling, stinging, burning or blisters and yes, itching.

Skin Allergies are one of the most prevalent causes of skin conditions. Generally, they are caused by an immune system which becomes hypersensitive after exposure to certain substances which it recognizes as harmful. As a result of this exposure, the body's immune system releases huge amounts of antibodies to combat these "supposedly" harmful substances. The release of these immune cells may then cause an adverse reaction in other cells within the body.

The major symptom of skin allergy are hives, rashes, swelling, itching which may includes one or more physical signs like dry skin and it results in cracking of the skin. The hands, face, arms and neck are the common areas affected by skin allergies as are exposed usually every day.

Nevertheless, it's always a good thing to check the doctor especially if you are covered by a healthcare insurance; maximize the privilege, to say.

Way to go Maxicare! :)

Allergy Attacks

Yesterday just after hitting my place coming from work I had a little itchy feeling on my back; but I've just ignored it. After about an hour the itch had spread like an epidemic conquering my upper body; my back, sides of my body, neck and face. An allergy attack!!! I really don't know what brought that allergy to me. I know it's not what I ate that day or what I drank. There was no insect bite either. Was it skin asthma? I really don't know.

So I did put some anti-allergy or anti-itch cream on the affected areas, had some sleep, and it got a little better.

A little?

Well, I had the allergy-attack again earlier. It was so itchy that it's like tempting me to scratch 'em all; I did not of course. Beside from the itchiness it had also brought out heat, so hot but I didn't wanna take my clothes off. Deym!

Since I'm at work I decided to check our company nurses. Them nurses didn't even have the effort to look at the allergy; they were just sitting there on their thrones playing their cellphones while I was trying to get help from them. Now that's what I call work! Oh yeah!

They've just handed me over a tablet of Loratadine (Allerta) after maybe hearing the word 'allergy'. Very nice.

Well I believe I'm not the only employee complaining about those nurses, I know there's a lot.

Well the medicine did a little help of getting rid of the allergy rashes but what I want to know is how and why I had it. The best thing then is to visit the doctor. Yah, a doctor with the "pee-eytch dot dee", know I'm saying?

Gonna hit the road then.

Change

Today I decided to change the looks of this blog.

Black and bold.
Red and gold.

I am iKalinga; those colors represent not only my preference but also myself and what I stand for. Proud to be and will always be iKalinga.

I hope this change will be a good start for me to have a regular post in this site. I will have to manage my time well; that's something I've overlooked for the past few years. Time-management for most aspects in my life; I know this is not a late start.

Well a change is always a turning point but we should not ignore where we came from.

GOD bless us all.

Suspected Gout

I didn't play ball.
I didn't hit the track.
I didn't do acrobats.
I didn't fall.

No.

Not those and yet my left foot is giving me severe pain.
About four days ago I was setting up this new desktop we just purchased when all of a sudden I felt a piercing pain on my left foot, you know that thing we feel after a heavy object is dropped directly to it; but I've just ignored it hoping that it would just go away immediately. I even went to work. Sigh.

I was wrong.

The next day, the pain became worse; I can hardly walk, even just to stand, the pain is unbearable; realy!
I've decided then to visit the doctor and after telling her my story she immediately wrote the prescription same time shook her head; believe me I was worried about that reaction. She then handed me over the papers; diagnosis says 'suspected gout'. Gout?! Whatta!!!

What's happening with my system? What have I been eating for me to have this sudden and painful sickness?

Well this is not yet confirmed for I was not able to see the lab results; they've drawn out blood to check my system's uric acid. Lab results will be out on Friday. Hopefully this is just a sprain that I haven't noticed it occurred so that after it I can play ball, hit the track, do acrobats without doing the fall.

NBA Hoops Jerseys at iK!

So it has been more than a month now since we've officially opened our very own iK Sari-sari Shop in our province (Kalinga) and it feels good having your own business investment. Though the shop is still on it's initial stages (getting more customers, gaining more sales) I can't really help myself imagining good things that may come. Good things like for next months to come our sales would boom; double, triple, it would just go boom! Hahaha! That's how business should be, always think positive; I am not saying though that things might not go the way I don't like it to be, we've prepared ourselves for them things... mentally, financially, spiritually. Yes brother!

Well, besides from the merchandise that my girl have chosen to be sold in our shop, I had my own choices as well. Being a sports enthusiast myself, of course not to mention that I love basketball, I had my own corner where I had selected NBA jerseys for sale. Oh yeah baby, NBA jerseys! What's the label? HOOPS!

NBA Hoops Jerseys for sale at iK Sari-sari Shop and also at my online store Buy2Shop!

Well take note of this, these jerseys are class A+++.. I mean not authentic but of high-quality jerseys. :)

Grab yours now!

iK Sari-sari Shop

I've always thought of establishing a business, I mean a legal one. For a couple of years of thinking an planning that involved a lot of decisions that held up the plan to work out, finally, our (with my girl) very own establishment opened. Wheeew!

I called it iK Sari-sari Shop! :)

Though it is a business that caters not only one or two types of merchandise it is something like a k-mart; well a very very small version of it. Sigh.

Originally, the plan was to have an internet cafe plus services but then since we learned that the shop just beside the store is an internet shop by itself we decided to let the competition passed us by and just come up to a more productive one. So here it is, a sari-sari shop.

It's located in front of the St. Toni's College, Bulanao, Tabuk City; just across the hi-way.

Come one, come all!

Click to visit the Facebook page.

Under Renovation

It has been a long time... really been a long time for me to post another entry here. There has been a lot of activities and events that I should have written something with. A lot of ideas came across my constructive mind but all of them was just filed on the shelves of my creativity. Oh my... what's going on now? I don't think this is a blogger's (writer's) recession; a fact of a matter is, as I may admit, I was just lazy.

Oh well...

I would like to start (again) with a good one here; but before that I'ma have to do some renovation. Removal of posts, not really good ones, would be a nice start.

iPOD will go... will just go

I decided to sell my Apple iPod Classic 6th Gen (120GB) to have some cash due to other needs. I love it but it will just go; it will just go. Bye bye!
